Targetmaster Hot Rod is one of the rarest boxed and loose transformers. Targetmaster Scourge TM is also one that is quite rare as well. The box and artwork is compelling. The red grids and the artwork make this item a superb display piece. Firebolt is packaged in neat way with his own bubble and everything.

Unlike Targetmaster Scourge, there have been corrected boxed TM Hot Rods found. There seems to be two versions. One with the Firebolt printed (completely corrected), and one with a Firebolt sticker over the Misfire name. Discussion in the groups reveal that a source claims that only 2 factories in Cinncinati were producing Sticker versions, and 7 factories around the US were making printed corrections. This is unconfirmed and probably never will be.

It is very unlikely that the factories would be located in United States producing boxes. Also it is very strange to have two varations, I mean why have a sticker? Just edit the damn thing. What is extremely strange is that information such as that isn't even known or cared for by people who worked at Hasbro in 87'. There really are no facts out there about these pieces. More time is needed for information and pieces to come of the woodwork. What I can say is that there is more than a handfull sticker varations out there.
