Name:   Peralay / Melf    Type:        Good Fighter Mage Elf     Bio: Coming from a race of magical forest dwelling beings, the elf fighter is able to combine all the best traits of many beings. Able to use magical spells as well as weapons, this fighter is a truly powerful enemy to all creatures that would do harm to the forests and to those who love nature.     Count on the elf fighter to come into battle riding a giant giraffe or some other magical mount with his magical sword flashing over his head.     Action Figure: Like all other D&D he is extremely detailed. The figure stands 3" 3/4 and is poseable in the arms and legs. He comes with a small light green dagger, a green cloak, and a brown bow and quiver. LJN gave the same character, two names for unknown reasons. He was only released in the 1st Series of AD&D.     Variations:The figure was never produced as a Battle Mattic. There are no known variations on the figure or weapons. There is a variation in his name. He was produced with two different names, Melf & Peralay. Melf is his earlier name, and was changed to Peralay. I'am not sure which one is rarer, but I'd bet Melf is.     Picture of Peralay MOC
