This Knock-Off Grimlock is based of the Diaclone Grimlock which had a blue or rec crotch. We can tell because the box is extremely close to the real thing. This piece could be found in North America and probably around the same time as the Dinobots appeared on the shelves (1985+). The toy seems to be well made but of course no markings.
