This prototype picture comes from Takara's own museum. It was pictured in the Headmaster Laserdisc set along with a few other toy prototypes from the Movie.     Cyclonus is much cooler and looks more the movie version. The ears are pointed, and it seems them can seperate a little further, and then close in on the nosecone of the jet. This feature was never produced.
