The success of Thundercats of Thundercats was not only in North America, but Europe and even South America. Though the European Thundercats had almost no variations at all compared to their North American counterparts, the South American Thundercats varied in colors, sizes and even had a few unqiue toys up their sleeves.
Do keep aware that the South American Thundercats are licensed toys. It was argued for a small period in time that the Antex Thundercats from Argentina were knock offs due to their quality and strange weapons that would be given. The quality of South American toys are always going to be less than their other worldly counterparts because it keeps the costs down from manufactoring them. Being able to keep quality control down, allows paint jobs not to be applied so well and at times a bit of free liberty when it comes to weapons and colors.
