Invid Scout Ship

The Matchbox version of the Invid Scout Ship toy was released in 1985.
It was molded in a pinkish-red color with blue feet and claws.
The eye sensor was painted black with red triangles.
The scout ships that were in the cartoon were quite a bit different than this toy. They were more crab-like in appearance.
This toy came packaged in a box with with a Robotech Fan club application.

The Playmates version of the Invid Scout Ship toy was released in 1994.
It was molded in a reddish-purple color with turquoise feet and claws.
The eye sensor was left unpainted making an already plain toy even more boring.
This toy came packaged on a blister card.
